Empowering individuals and organizations to maximize their strengths and transform to their highest potential.
Services
SwiftRiver's services rest upon our foundational purpose: Empowering individuals and organizations to maximize their strengths and transform to their highest potential.
Our coaching approach is deeply rooted in the science of positive psychology and strengths-based philosophy, and is grounded in unconditional positive regard for our clients.
We value our clients’ individuality and uniqueness, and we emphasize and model authenticity, connection, openness, clarity, and empathy in our client relationships.
We coach people invested in their own continued success and growth as executives and leaders, and those seeking additional clarity and capabilities for developing in their careers.
We also work with people seeking support in their personal lives as they navigate transitions, challenges, or loss; those seeking clarity of purpose and impact; and people who want to strengthen their personal relationships, their wellbeing & resilience, and/or their day-to-day sense of satisfaction, creativity, and success. We offer 1:1 coaching as well as workshops.
Our approaches incorporate both wide-ranging and practical methods, customized to each client’s needs, and may utilize feedback, strength & style assessments, adult learning theory, specific skill & capability development, neuroscience, mindfulness, habit change techniques, supportive somatic approaches, and intentional use of values in daily life & leadership.

Individual Client Coaching
Engagements
Utilizing an integrative approach to executive, career, and life coaching, SwiftRiver’s services address the identification, support, and achievement of each client’s specific objectives. This could include increasing the client’s sense of satisfaction and tangible success within their career, leadership, personal life, relationships, and/or wellbeing.
The focus of our coaching partnership is on insight and change. This could mean changing an existing pattern, behavior, or way of thinking in order to achieve better results in work and life. The change could also occur through acquisition of new capabilities, such as communication, presence, influence, balance, etc. In all cases, strengthening habits of self-reflection ensure that positive change will continue after the coaching ends.
We will frequently challenge clients to identify and reflect upon roadblocks standing in the way of achieving their desired results, see things that have not been fully seen, or explore characteristics or circumstances that may hold them back from reaching their personal and professional goals. We’re there to support clients through those areas of change and skill building. In addition, we work with clients to help identify and maximize their natural talents and strengths -- and equally to identify and minimize those behaviors or approaches that limit their fullest potential.
Our work together depends on the client’s needs, but generally includes space to envision the desired future state, assess the current state, define areas for change & growth, practice new approaches, reflect and learn from the practice, and apply & reinforce what is producing the desired results. In addition to an ongoing focus on the client’s coaching engagement goals, each session includes exploring practical actions that can be taken right away to address specific situations, as needed.

Teams, Organizations, and Relationship Engagements
We work with teams and across organizations to deepen an understanding of how to best work together, better align on important goals, come together to innovate and seize new opportunities, and build skills to move through conflict and decisions.
We offer facilitated workshops that can be incorporated into a team offsite or new leader onboarding, aimed at increasing team effectiveness through understanding strengths, preferences, beliefs, and values. The workshops help leaders and teams better connect and appreciate their unique diversity of preferences and approaches to their work.
Depending on the needs, we can partner with clients to develop customized team and organizational engagements, workshops, planning sessions, chartering, kick-offs, or other interventions, as appropriate. We offer highly skilled preparation & facilitation and can help your team accomplish more together, as well as ensure follow-through after the session.
Similarly, we can help individuals better partner and thrive in their 1:1 or small group relationships – both personally (e.g., partners, families, friendships), and professionally (e.g., colleagues, managers, direct reports).
